    So sick of people sticking so close to Wayne, goalies were terrible back then, pads were smaller, goalies were less athletic, half the NHL were goons. Junior players could have fit in back in Wayne's early days. Stick argument is retarded because we could say Howes Era had it worse, sticks weighed so much more than those in Wayne's day. Stick Ovechkin, Crosby, McDavid in that Era and they amase damn near the same numbers as Wayne. Ovechkin 100% beats his all time goals record. Crosby puts up just as many assists, and McDavid finishes with more points then most because noone was wheeling like he does. Wayne is goated but not the best to ever do it. Mario would have beat most records had he played an entire career. 2 purest goal scorers in the history of the NHL are Mario and Ovechkin. Fight me.

    Just passed Mike Gartner in career goals, and he can pass Gartner's record of 15 consecutive seasons of at least 30 goals scored. Ovi needs 23 more this season for his 16th consecutive season of at least 30 goals. GOAT!
