   Thigh gap is a sign that you are a party girl. I knew a girl that use to wear alot of rings on her fingers. Guys gifted her rings to party with her.

   I’m not trying to be mean or anything like that but you young ladies need to get your ass off of the damn phones and the Internet go out there, spend time with your friends and enjoy your life long as you are not overweight, and in danger of having a heart attack or something like that enjoy your youth go have fun young ladies stop worrying about what society tells you what you’re supposed to be and be what you want to be, which is successful Successful people don’t give a damn what the world thinks about them because they have everything they need their successful.

   It’s not new. It’s just more well advertised now. When I was a weight lifter, in the 90s, it was a thing then. Maybe teen boys didn’t know wtf it was, but every jarhead I served with certainly did.

    It's rude that the presenter assumes girls want a thigh gap for male attention. I'm a trans guy. I didn't transition for male attention, I did it for myself. Any decision a biological female makes isn't about anyone else. Any decision I make is about me and only me, I don't give two rats bums about anyone else when it comes to my body.

    this crap trend made me pro ana at one point an my lowest was like 82 lbs when your anorexic you lose your apetite an your stomach an throat gets smaller so its harder to swallow the amounts of food you use to intake.. I nearly put myself in a psych hospital bc unlike eugenia cooney ik I had a problem.. well im still considered underweight im under my bmi but not anorexic anymore

    Ok… let me clarify some stuff . 1. Boys know what a thigh gap is . We may not call it that way…but for us it represents airation and access . Most of us are
    Not fungi …we avoid dark , humid environments . Thin
    Girls seem to have a whole list of issues …then again so do the others but ….

    It’s physically impossible to have a thigh that if you don’t have wide hips, unless you starve urself and have narrow hips then maybe you’ll have one. But no wide hips=no thigh gap. Thigh gap or no thigh gap, your beautiful

    there is commentary about the deleterious (chance to use a big word :)) effect of the 'male' gaze on teen's body image and confidence; however, girls also face shaming about their body from other girls, less overt than men, but just as harmful to one's self image.
