    LME is showing how corrupt metals trading is. We need a better method to trade and set prices. Big players can manipulate the market too easily with the help of the exchanges.

    He didn't lose, I'm more than sure that americans are "targeting" chinese traders.
    The chinese have realized about this and they are opening trades on the opposite direction of what they think the market is going to do.
    Meanwhile they accumulated greater positions on the direction they think the price is gonna move on third parties overseas account.
    Who is going to short the nickel, wheat, oil, paladium… after the invasion of Ukraine? It's totally unrealistic.
    Even if he shorted it before the invasion, he is experienced enough to close that short after the invasion.

US equity-index futures declined along with Asian stocks as enthusiasm for the artificial-intelligence trade cooled after driving markets to record highs this year.

Futures contracts for the Nasdaq 100 Index dropped 1%, indicating a third day of losses for the gauge as investors rotated out of tech stocks. MSCI’s Asian equities gauge fell 1.6%. South Korea’s Kospi — the world’s best-performing gauge this year and a bellwether for AI investments — slid 5.3%, with chipmaker SK Hynix Inc. tumbling 8.9%.
