Isn't it obvious? Tank for that draft pick. Not rocket science.

Next year though, bring back the OG logo on their uni's. Guaranteed playoffs.

The Ducks are one of the worst development teams in the N.H.L.. Sam Steel, Max Jones, Isac Lundestrum, Jacob Larson, Josh Mahura, Troy Terry, all bounced around or inserted on the big club way before they were ready. Instead of letting them develop for the first 3 years in the minors, they basically gave them no solid foundation before coming on board the Ducks.

Gibson has been struggling due to the defense getting injured for the majority of the season.

We aren’t experienced enough. Bringing up all our young players the same year was a terrible idea. The blind leading the blind.

Thank you for the critique on BM we want him gone and Eakins too, I get turning a rebuild around but some of the worst play I've seen had come under the eakins regime

Dallas Eakins is a horrible coach just look at him in Edmonton

  12. @Lebby-lc9co

    January 31, 2024 at 1:18 pm

This season will pretty much be identical to last year, but that’s probably alright as long as they keep on pace with developing the young players. But they have to be more active in trading starting this year.

    Bargain Bob

I love how the "experts" seem to be going along with the Bob Murray idea that it's up to all of these young guys who weren't "the goalscorer" before they were drafted to suddenly be 40 goal guys in the NHL. Problem is in the office, has been for 6,7,8, years. Murray is stuck in the past, and until he goes we won't compete. Prospects have been held back and now they're here there's nobody to play with. 8th in pacific 30th overall.

You should bring Steve in for the Leafs season preview

  19. @snakeeyes9246

    January 31, 2024 at 1:18 pm

Gibson should be on a better team. It's another example of a good goaltender on a mediocre team.

  28. @ewanturner3633

    January 31, 2024 at 1:18 pm

we'll be missing the playoffs again this season. if they can keep these young guys and if they can step up to the next level. but the future is bright for us
