    He always was, the media focused on Iraq during the campaign, which was the only war he was against, but he ALWAYS said he was gonna escalate Afghanistan, and even hinted at his policy of killing people in Pakistan. now he ads Yemen, Somalia, etc etc…
    Also the continuation of rendition, indefinite detention, warrant-less wiretaps, re-authorizing the patriot act, and we've even seen his administration call for assassination of an American citizen.
    war-president? war-criminal is more like it.

    December 2009 = 10 and a half months after he was in office, so im sure he already saw the threats you are talking about.
