Fashion’s Night Out ft Heidi Klum & Aldo – New York Fashion Week Spring 2012 NYFW | FashionTV – FTV
http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK – FashionTV joins the local fashionistas, the celebs, and the VIPs for the third annual Fashion’s Night Out in New York City on September 8, 2011. We meander the streets looking for the best fashion parties, sales, and the most beautiful, stylish women, running into some of the best including models Heidi Klum, Doutzen Kroes, and Maria Lisowska. We stop at stores like Aldo, Mango, and Victoria’s Secret. “I feel so great. It’s always fun to be out on Fashion’s Night Out in New York City,” Doutzen says. Doutzen is making the rounds with designer Christian Cota. The two stopped at Saks Fifth Avenue and then made a jaunt to Aldo shoe store. Christian created a new collection for Aldo for Spring 2011 and Fashion’s Night Out is the first time he’s seeing it in stores. FTV heads to QVC and spots Kathy Griffin. Sarah Jessica Parker waves hello at QVC and we run into Donald Trump’s wife Melania Trump. Many celebs are launching lines at QVC tonight including Kris Jenner, mother of Kim Kardashian, stylist Christina Ehrlich, and model Angela Lindvall. “It is crazy on Fashion’s Night Out,” Heidi Klum tells a crowd of reporters including FashionTV, but she adds, “I feel great! It’s a fun night.”

Gilles Mendel takes a moment from the hubbub backstage to talk to FashionTV. “This Fall collection has been inspired by a Vogue editorial by Diane Vreeland in Barcelona,” he says. The line contains beautiful architecture and texture as well as a beautiful mosaic. There’s a mix of fabrics and a lot of surprise. “Furs are going to be amazing!” he exclaims. Australian model Nicole Trunfio is backstage in a tight ivory dress, beige heels and matching fur. “He uses such luxurious fabrics and its very elegant and timeless,” she says of the designer and the brand. Trunfio is a busy girl, traveling to Miami and Paris for modeling and working on a jewelry line that is out in March 2012.
