Broadcom Sees AI Chip Boom as It Takes On Nvidia | The Pulse 9/3/2026

Published

on

Broadcom predicted a boom in artificial intelligence chip sales over the next two years, helping renew optimism that it can challenge Nvidia’s dominance in the lucrative market.

US President Donald Trump said renewed attacks on Iran would likely be short-lived, reiterating his claim Washington controls the Strait of Hormuz after fresh fighting spiked energy prices and rekindled fears of an open-ended war.

A month of gradual decline in the yen has reversed sharply over the past 24 hours as investors turn their gaze to factors that may bolster the beleaguered currency. The surge highlighted the nervous tension surrounding the currency in the run up to the Bank of Japan’s meeting later this month.

Today’s guests: Claudia Panseri, UBS Wealth Management France CIO; Richard Portes, London Business School Professor of Economics; Tina Fordham, Fordham Global Foresight Founder and Geopolitical Strategist; Elina Ribakova, Peterson Institute for International Economics Senior Fellow
