BREAKING: Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell released a statement on questions surrounding his health. In the statement, he says that he suffered a fall last month “which landed me in the hospital” and a “mild case of pneumonia.”

He says he did not suffer a heart attack or stroke, and he has moved from the hospital to a rehabilitation center. He also said that “on the advice of my doctors, I won’t be able to return to the Senate floor to vote quite yet.”
