Araujo 2013 Swimwear show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim where inspiration is taken from the great Carmen Miranda and the sultry lifestyle of tropical Miami. Brazilian fashion designer, A.Z. Araujo swept through Miami Swim once again this year where he clearly claimed his title as the king of swimwear. Araujo designed swimsuits for both men and women, spectacularly defined in exotic prints, capturing the luscious fruits of the world. The sexy models walked down the runway in hints of the Brazilian tropics and the Amazon rainforest. Many suits included Swarovski embellishments which dazzled the catwalk like never before. The collection also consisted of bright colored one-suits with a finished thong, bringing that Brazilian sex appeal to Miami. For men, models walked in white floral printed beach trousers as well as tailored shorts. There were a whole lot of cut outs, especially in one piece suits and bikini tops. The season’s sponsors included Swarovski elements and Palmer’s cocoa butter which all helped to create the stunning beach ambiance of the show.
