This season, Valli chose the wasp silhouette as models took to the catwalk in a series of cinch-waisted coats and dresses to open the show. Elements of volume, texture, and opulence quickly presented themselves, as the Italian designer moved the Spring looks in the “princess dress” direction; with flora and fauna inspiring his voluminous cocktail dresses. And if you look close enough you will see that the floral embellishments are actually made from feathers!
