Dean Lap Chan: Memories Woven into Art for S/S 27 | London Fashion Week

Published

Relive the magic of 80s & 90s Hong Kong – explore Dean Lap Chan’s spring/summer 27 collection on FashionTV!

Hong Kong-born, London-based designer Chan Kai Lap Dean presented “Faded Glory,” the S/S 2027 womenswear collection for his namesake label Dean Lap Chan, during London Fashion Week. Comprising 13 carefully crafted looks, the collection unfolds as a poignant visual poem dedicated to the fleeting nature of youth, urban transformation, and memory, drawing inspiration from a pivotal summer spent in 1980s and 1990s Hong Kong.

Translating deeply personal recollections into wearable art, “Faded Glory” captures the essence of a golden era preserved in time. The collection highlights Chan’s signature Loosing-Embroidery technique alongside faded stripes in dynamic color combinations, reflecting how memories soften and evolve. Retro tailoring, period-specific silhouettes, and classic beauty details balance the vibrant heat of youthful idealism with the subtle elegance of impermanence.

Shot on location at a historic British house and garden – with photography by Fei Sun and a short film by Jess Wishart – the campaign setting provides an evocative backdrop for a narrative rooted in hope, proving that while eras shift, the warmth of the past continues to illuminate the path forward.

Paul Costelloe: Iconic Tailoring Meets Coastal Elegance for S/S 27 | London Fashion Week

Published

Witness a legacy continued – watch the Paul Costelloe S/S 2027 runway showcase on FashionTV!

Opening London Fashion Week at Banking Hall, the Paul Costelloe spring/summer 2027 collection represents a seamless passage of tailoring tradition from father to son. Designed by Creative Director William Costelloe, the collection reinterprets the house’s iconic heritage through a refined contemporary lens, balancing sharp sartorial discipline with the light, buoyant spirit of a French Riviera retreat.

Grounded in 1980s power dressing and archival codes – most notably from the era when the late Paul Costelloe dressed Princess Diana – the spring/summer 2027 wardrobe centers on strong, structured shoulders softened by fluid fabrications. Premium Irish linen, crisp cottons, and silks take center stage across pussy-bow blouses, nautical navy-and-white stripes, silk headscarves, and relaxed suiting.

Anchored in a palette of navy, cornflower blue, cream, and pure white, William Costelloe’s modern vision honors the legacy of craftsmanship passed down through generations, ensuring the house’s signature elegance remains as resonant today as ever.

Mithridate: Blitz Club Glamour Meets Modern Nonchalance for S/S 27 | London Fashion Week

Published

Embrace the spirit of New Romantic rebellion – watch the Mithridate S/S 27 runway show on FashionTV!

For spring/summer 2027, Mithridate Creative Director Daniel Fletcher turns his gaze to 1980s London and the subversive spirit of the New Romantics. Debuting steps away from the iconic Blitz Club site, the collection, titled “Fade to Grey,” channels an era defined by unabashed self-expression, androgyny, and theatrical flair, reinterpreting it through a distinctly contemporary, nonchalant lens.

The runway presented a masterclass in contrasting proportions and eclectic styling, pairing broad-shouldered jackets with shrunken knits, micro shorts with billowing trench coats, and low-slung briefs with fringe-scarf ties. Military garb from Victorian and Edwardian uniforms met dancefloor escapism through feather-covered bodices, bubble-hem party dresses, tulle-trimmed gowns, and Noel Stewart bicorn hats.

Anchored by clash-heavy colorways – hot pink against scarlet, cornflower blue with emerald green – and finished with flat footwear and sneaker-inspired kitten heels, Fletcher delivers a bold invitation to embrace individuality and defy convention.

Diesel: Inside Glenn Martens’ Unforgettable Diesel Finale for S/S 27 | Milan Fashion Week

Published

Disruptive denim, club culture, and pure energy – discover Diesel S/S 27 on FashionTV!

For the spring/summer 2027 show, Diesel transformed its Milan runway into an immersive, high-energy club space for a monumental occasion: Creative Director Glenn Martens’ final collection for the house. Centered around inclusivity, desire, and pure self-expression, the showcase unfolded alongside a provocative 200-performer intervention by Marseille artist collective (LA)HORDE, culminating in an electric crescendo set to a rework of Donna Summer’s “Love to Love You Baby.”

The collection served as a masterclass in disruptive, fluid, and sensual design. Signature trompe-loeil prints deceived the eye with illusions of shearling coats and tweed on lightweight jersey, while merged garments combined blazers, ribbed knits, and tracksuits in single hybrid pieces.

Denim, the heart of the house, was laser-treated to mimic leather, featured dramatically low cutaways, and appeared as micro shorts and pantasocks. Orchid motifs cut through fabrics, body-con cutouts pushed boundaries, and iconic accessories like the new Lock-D bag and orchid body jewellery defined the spectacle. Closing with model Ella Snyder, who opened Martens’ very first Diesel show, the presentation delivered a triumphant full-circle farewell.
