Biden Pardons Son Hunter in Reversal | Bloomberg The Pulse 12/02/24

Published

on

President Joe Biden signed a sweeping pardon for his son, Hunter Biden, reversing his previous stance that he would not use his executive powers to aid his oldest-living child. Biden justified the pardon by saying that the case against his son was politically tinged, excessive and designed to “break” him and Hunter. Meanwhile in France, the far-right National Rally indicated in the strongest language yet that it could topple the French government as soon as this week, hours after Finance Minister Antoine Armand exclusively told Bloomberg his administration wouldn’t be blackmailed.

Today’s guests: Freya Beamish, Chief economist at TS Lombard and Yuriy Ryzhenkov, CEO of Ukraine’s largest steel producer, Metinvest.
