Cannes Film Festival at Fashiontv Model Awards, Al Habtoor Group and Fashiontv celebrate World’s First “Fashion Hotel” in Dubai.
Michel Adam president of fashiontv has signed with Mohammed Al Habtoor the CEO of Al Habtoor Group to flag the world´s first Fashion Hotel in Dubai during the first Model Awards at 64th Cannes Film Festival.
The Agreement signed by Mr. Mohammed Al Habtoor, CEO of Al Habtoor Group with a head office in Dubai and Michel Adam, president of fashiontv. Under the agreement, Al Habtoor Group will operate Fashion Hotels – trendy, 5 stars smart hotels of international standard. The first one to start with the construction and operation will be Fashion Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hotel is planned to have 33 floors and 300 rooms which will be covered with a led video net broadcasting 24/7 the latest fashiontv highlights . The fashion events in the hotel will be available to all in Dubai, projected on 100 meter high video screen, which will become the world’s largest video screen.
All rooms will be equipped with the most sophisticated audio, video, climate, and lighting technology with an access to 30 Fashiontv channels and library of 50,000 video clips covering the whole history of fashion. Latest 3D technology will be available for the customer’s entertainment.

Gilles Mendel takes a moment from the hubbub backstage to talk to FashionTV. “This Fall collection has been inspired by a Vogue editorial by Diane Vreeland in Barcelona,” he says. The line contains beautiful architecture and texture as well as a beautiful mosaic. There’s a mix of fabrics and a lot of surprise. “Furs are going to be amazing!” he exclaims. Australian model Nicole Trunfio is backstage in a tight ivory dress, beige heels and matching fur. “He uses such luxurious fabrics and its very elegant and timeless,” she says of the designer and the brand. Trunfio is a busy girl, traveling to Miami and Paris for modeling and working on a jewelry line that is out in March 2012.
