Preparations are currently underway to begin excavation work for President Donald Trump’s 250-foot triumphal arch near Arlington National Cemetery and the Lincoln Memorial. But the project faces a federal lawsuit brought by three veterans and an architectural historian. Jonathan Lemire blasts the project, calling it an “obscenity,” and says the land between the Lincoln Memorial and the cemetery is “a sacred place.”
