The drama inside the Republican Party continues as RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel is reportedly preparing to step down after pressure from Donald Trump.

MAGA loyalist Matt Gaetz basically fired Kevin McCarthy from his speakership and is now mocking McCarthy again by “endorsing” him to take over as RNC Chair. Gaetz writing he would be a “terrific” choice since he won’t “make any policy decisions.”

Two veteran FBI counterterrorism agents have been removed from their jobs after a disagreement over an investigation into harassing phone calls made to the wife of White House deputy Chief of staff Stephen Miller. The FBI’s Co-Deputy Director Andrew Bailey resigned Monday, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family, but MS NOW’s Ken Dilanian reports he was annoyed by the recent demotions.

In a statement on X, the FBI said the claim that Bailey was annoyed with the demotions was “false” and that “he supported those moves.”
