In a shock to absolutely no one, talks between the Trump administration and Ukraine are on hold. Friday’s meeting was already expected to be tense. But now, Trump wants Zelenskyy to stay silent about the very man causing it all, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has long claimed Ukraine has no right to exist. This isn’t just a low point for U.S. foreign policy. It’s a reminder of how little some politicians care about real suffering in these wars.
