http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK – FashionTV host Hofit Golan in a beautiful green top is backstage at the Tibi Fall/Winter 2012-2013 fashion show during New York Fashion Week where models are getting their hair and makeup done in preparation for the runway. Kevin Ryan from Aveda gives us the inside scoop on the makeup look for the show. “What we’re doing today is just a little mess, a little practicality. The girls have pulled their hair back pretty quickly and I happened to wrap it with a little piece of their hair,” he explains. “Just messily undone, that moment when everything collapses.” Golan heads to the hustle and bustle of the dressing room where models are being photographed and getting dressed. Each model has a look assigned to her. Golan stops to say hello to models Daniela Braga from Brazil and Maria Borges from Angola. Reality star/socialitie Olivia Palermo is also backstage and we get the exclusive with her! “It’s been a very good few days. Obviously, my favorite and my highlight is always Amy’s collection and I’m really looking forward to seeing it,” she says referring to the collection by designer Amy Smilovic. Also seen backstage, reality star/editor Louise Roe and designer of the hour, Amy Smilovic. The collection, according to Smilovic, is 90s meets 60s with clean silhouettes and lots of fabrications this season. The designer uniquely combined the minimal 90s with the mod 60s. It may have been a difficult feat, prints mixed with plain trousers, but she added in brocade, boxy shapes and other elements.
