Protesters tased, arrested at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Georgia town hall

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of President Trump’s most loyal allies in the House, faced several protesters who were removed by police for disrupting her town hall in Cobb County, Georgia, on Tuesday.

Police said at least six attendees were escorted out without incident, while three others were arrested — two of whom were stunned with a Taser during their removal.

Greene is among a handful of Republican members of Congress to hold town halls during its spring recess. GOP leadership has advised their members to avoid in-person town halls after several members were grilled in their home districts earlier this year.
