Town hall ERUPTS over GOP rep.’s confession about House budget bill
Nicolle Wallace reports on the intense questioning Rep. Mike Flood, R-Neb., received at a recent town hall. At one point, Flood even conceded he did not read a provision in the House’s “Big Beautiful Bill” before he voted for it, triggering loud protests from the audience.
Flood admitted he did not read the full bill when an audience member asked him why he had voted in favor of a provision that would make it harder for judges to enforce orders holding parties before them in contempt for defying court orders.

President Trump yesterday gave a new account of what he says happened in the aftermath of the September 11th terror attacks. Speaking at a ceremony honoring those killed, Trump said he went to lower Manhattan shortly after the attacks and claimed two firefighters physically carried him to safety when a nearby building appeared ready to collapse. Trump has made similar claims about his presence at ground zero for years, but there is no evidence supporting the account that firefighters carried him from the site. The Morning Joe panel discusses Trump’s latest claim.
