http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS – FashionTV hangs out backsatge at the Anthony Vaccarello show which was a big deal for two reasons. First, top model Anja Rubik closed the show. Second, American model Karlie Kloss opened the show and it was her first time back on the runway after skipping New York, London, and Milan Fashion Week.

Makeup Artist Tom Pecheux is on hand to do makeup for Anja Rubik. “The makeup for Anthony Vaccellero is our version, Anthony and I, of what would be Parisian. Paris is known for the beauty, not only of the buildings, but of the woman,” explains Pecheux. Pecheux says women don’t wear much makeup during the day, but when they go out at night, they love their smoky eyes. “I’m adding to the black eye, a bit of burgundy,” he says, “because it’s an amazing color to make your own eye color pop out.” The lips are very beige. The finish the look, he adds a little bit of lip gloss.

Anja Rubik calls Paris the most important city for fashion. “It’s starting really good, it’s starting with one of my favorite designers, Anthony Vaccarello,” she adds. “I’ve been supporting him since last season and I think he’s a huge young talent that is going to take over the whole industry.” Hairstylist Anthony Turner calls the models “sexy soldiers” and says the hairstyle is “very androgynous, very powerful.” He’s using a lot of L’Oreal Fix Max gel. “We’re doing gelled low side parts, so like boys. Like a boy’s hair.” He fixes it into a very low ponytail at the nape of the neck.

Karlie Kloss says hello to FashionTV. “Anthony is very talented. He is kicking off Paris Fashion Week,” she says. “The collection is stunning.” Kloss talks about the runway, her outfit, and her excitement to open the show.

Julie de Libran: the Couture Ritual for F/W 26-27 | Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week

Published

Elegance in motion: step inside the intimate, wellness-inspired sanctuary of Julie de Libran’s fall/winter 2026–2027 haute couture collection on FashionTV!

On July 6, 2026, Paris Haute Couture Week witnessed a beautiful departure from rigid fashion norms. Designer Julie de Libran invited guests into a quiet, sunlit Pilates studio in the Latin Quarter to unveil her deeply personal Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 collection, entitled “Rituel.” Grounded in the philosophy that true luxury begins with internal alignment, the show functioned as a poetic celebration of well-being, fluid physical movement, and conscious living.

Rather than confining the body in traditional, heavily structured couture corsetry, de Libran designed a wardrobe that breathes and bends with the wearer. Models moved naturally and freely through the space, showcasing silhouettes that were closer-fitting yet entirely fluid. The collection effortlessly balanced casual comfort with Parisian sophistication, featuring relaxed tailoring, dance-inspired ruffles, metallic fringe accents, and sophisticated, pajama-style ensembles.

To bring texture and light to the studio floor, the designer beautifully integrated shimmering silks, metallic cloqué fabrics, and a show-stopping sequined raffia little black dress. Beyond the garments’ physical grace, “Rituel” represents a masterful triumph in sustainable high fashion.

Continuing her uncompromising commitment to upcycling, de Libran breathed new life into deadstock textiles with exceptional intention. Exquisite couture tweeds from previous design seasons were carefully repurposed into modern patchwork jackets, while reconstructive white shirting and delicate, hand-cut silk leaf appliqués transformed raw materials into timeless works of art.

By blending the ease of a Californian lifestyle with iconic French savoir-faire, Julie de Libran delivers a quiet, empowering confidence – proving that clothes should never restrict the body, but rather liberate the mind.
