After trade negotiations between the and Canada failed, the slapped 50% tariffs on $20 billion of Canadian goods early Saturday. Canada is set to retaliate with dollar-for-dollar tariffs going into effect Sept. 8. Joe calls the trade war “stupid” and calls attention to how it will hurt Republicans like Sen. Susan Collins, R-ME, in the upcoming midterm elections.
