We go backstage to reveal all the models hair and beauty secrets that helped to create that water-finish glow. This season, makeup artist Diane Kendal chose a delicate make-up look for the models using gold and brown eyeshadow to create a smokey shimmery eye. Meanwhile hairstylist Guido Palau ran with the water-goddess theme giving the models refined wet-look hair. “The Ferretti woman this season shines. She is full of light and lightness with many iridescent fabrics, and also a few crystals that add shine in a very subtle way. Often you can see crystal fringes under lightweight dresses so as to create subtle movement,” Alberta Ferretti tells FashionTV. “In a way I imagine the woman coming out of the depths of the sea not because she has seashells, but because of her light,” she says referring to a constant motif played with in the line. The collection hit the catwalk in all the colors of the sea, while fringes and beading were used to create textures that resemble sea creatures and sea foam.
