Tony Ward explores what lies beneath the skin, using organic cut-outs of breathing transparencies, vertiginous decollete to the bottom of the spine, swollen collars, fueled-up sleeves, voluminous cover-ups that expose the skin underneath, and layers of intertwined fabric. The color palette includes porcelain, vanilla, burgundy, rose pink, presented on soft velvet, charmeuse, taffeta mousseline texture that mutated into scales.
