Senate POSTPONES Todd Blanche AG vote amid GOP REVOLT

The Senate Judiciary Committee has postponed the scheduled vote to advance the nomination of Todd Blanche as U.S. Attorney General after two key republicans on the panel said they were not ready to support him. The decision to delay the committee vote, which had been set for today, comes after Senators John Cornyn and Thom Tillis demanded Blanche and the Justice Department put in writing a commitment never to pursue the controversial settlement of President Trump’s lawsuit against the IRS.
