“No f***ing way!” Schumer feels shutdown heat, but Frost sees CRACKS in MAGA amid Epstein emails

Published

on

In this episode of “The Blueprint” Jen Psaki speaks with the youngest person in Congress, Representative Maxwell Frost, who tells Jen he’s “very pissed off” and “furious” with the eight senators agreeing to a shutdown deal and getting little to nothing for it. Frost is very critical of Chuck Schumer’s leadership and tells Jen what he thinks needs to happen now. But he’s also encouraged by the massive wins in the 2025 election and talks about cracks he’s starting to see in the GOP love for Trump — especially on the Jeffrey Epstein files. Frost tells a great story about the “surreal” meeting he had with Obama and how Bernie Sanders impacted his politics.

You’ll also hear from Democratic strategist Lis Smith who talks with Jen about the shutdown deal and the need for Democrats to keep up with the time we’re in.
