First Look – Fendi Fall 2012 with Karl Lagerfeld, Natasha Poly at Milan Fashion Week | FashionTV

http://www.FashionTV.com/videos MILAN – FashionTV has an indepth look at the Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection for Fendi from Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi at Milan Fashion Week.
Makeup Artist Peter Philips said Karl wanted a white detail in the makeup “because when you look at the collection, shoes and the handbags, there are some white little details everywhere,” he explains. “We went for this chalky, feathery brushstroke.”
Top model Natasha Poly calls the braids she wears in her hair for the collection “clean and beautiful.” She adds, “It’s really flattering. We all look really fresh.” American model Heidi Mount also loves the hair and makeup. “It’s very contradictory,” she says. “It was kind of a dark, Nordic look,” says Hairstylist Sam McKnight, who says he made lots of braids, but they were roped braids, not 2 section braids, which are typically the norm. He called it sharp and dark.
American Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour heads backstage before the show. Other collection commentators include the designer himself, Karl Lagerfeld, Cathy Horyn from The New York Times, Ken Downing from Neiman Marcus, and Lady Amanda Harlech.
Model Kati Nescher from Joy and Viva modeling agencies opens the show. The collection is full of tough leather with linebacker shoulders, additions of fur, mink, pleats, and wool fabrics. “The important thing in this collection is for me that sometimes the front of the dresses is totally unrelated to the back of the dress,” Fendi designer Karl Lagerfeld says. The materials are new or high-quality classic wool, cut with a razor blade, not heavy hems.
Appearances: Peter Philips (Makeup Artist), Frida Aasen, Sigrid Agren, Arizona Muse, Saskia de Brauw, Heidi Mount, Melissa Tammerijn, Aymeline Valade, Zuzanna Bijoch, Anna Wintour, Kati Nescher, Joan Smalls, Cathy Horyn (The New York Times), Silvia Venturini Fendi, Ken Downing (Neiman Marcus), Daphne Groeneveld, Kendra Spears, Natasha Poly, Nadine Ponce, Daria Strokous

Julie de Libran: the Couture Ritual for F/W 26-27 | Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week
Elegance in motion: step inside the intimate, wellness-inspired sanctuary of Julie de Libran’s fall/winter 2026–2027 haute couture collection on FashionTV!
On July 6, 2026, Paris Haute Couture Week witnessed a beautiful departure from rigid fashion norms. Designer Julie de Libran invited guests into a quiet, sunlit Pilates studio in the Latin Quarter to unveil her deeply personal Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 collection, entitled “Rituel.” Grounded in the philosophy that true luxury begins with internal alignment, the show functioned as a poetic celebration of well-being, fluid physical movement, and conscious living.
Rather than confining the body in traditional, heavily structured couture corsetry, de Libran designed a wardrobe that breathes and bends with the wearer. Models moved naturally and freely through the space, showcasing silhouettes that were closer-fitting yet entirely fluid. The collection effortlessly balanced casual comfort with Parisian sophistication, featuring relaxed tailoring, dance-inspired ruffles, metallic fringe accents, and sophisticated, pajama-style ensembles.
To bring texture and light to the studio floor, the designer beautifully integrated shimmering silks, metallic cloqué fabrics, and a show-stopping sequined raffia little black dress. Beyond the garments’ physical grace, “Rituel” represents a masterful triumph in sustainable high fashion.
Continuing her uncompromising commitment to upcycling, de Libran breathed new life into deadstock textiles with exceptional intention. Exquisite couture tweeds from previous design seasons were carefully repurposed into modern patchwork jackets, while reconstructive white shirting and delicate, hand-cut silk leaf appliqués transformed raw materials into timeless works of art.
By blending the ease of a Californian lifestyle with iconic French savoir-faire, Julie de Libran delivers a quiet, empowering confidence – proving that clothes should never restrict the body, but rather liberate the mind.
