‘The company is repulsed’: Musk to step back from DOGE as Tesla profits plunge

Tech billionaire #ElonMusk said he will begin dedicating more time to #Tesla and less to his work with the #Trump administration starting next month. Musk’s comments came on Tesla’s call with investors following the company reporting a sizable drop in first-quarter profit and revenue.

The company warned that the political environment along with the Trump administration’s #tariff plans were challenges for its business.

MSNBC’s #RachelMaddow reacts to the news. “It’s not a like business world secret why this is happening. This is happening because of the guy who’s the head of the car company. The company is repulsed by Elon Musk,” Maddow said.
