Two veteran FBI counterterrorism agents have been removed from their jobs after a disagreement over an investigation into harassing phone calls made to the wife of White House deputy Chief of staff Stephen Miller. The FBI’s Co-Deputy Director Andrew Bailey resigned Monday, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family, but MS NOW’s Ken Dilanian reports he was annoyed by the recent demotions.

In a statement on X, the FBI said the claim that Bailey was annoyed with the demotions was “false” and that “he supported those moves.”
