Before Judge Cannon (aka ‘Qanon’) was appointed to this case most every legal expert that weighed into the matter stated categorically that the likelihood of Cannon being assigned to this case was so remote it was not even worth considering. There should be an investigation to learn how it was that this particular Judge just happened to be assigned to this particular case. There’s something rotten in the State of Florida.

Lawrence, if Trump was convicted in any state case and sentenced to jail, he would never serve that time in a state prison. It would be in a federal prison.

We can forget about jail for Trump; the Supreme Court will never let it happen.

We didn't agree with "sitting president" terms used by Robert Mueller. How can we do to follow the "running Argument" if that's coming from the same person? … Undermining our hope for Democracy to happen everywhere, going back to 1789, 1933, January 6 2021, well not have anything else to fight for if the Law applied differently from one man to another. We already now there's no way Donald Trump can escape from being sent to Jail!

  27. @LillianRoberts-ni9ev

    December 24, 2023 at 12:25 pm

Trump considers himself, president, judge, juror, and prosecutor! Hiss word is Law. Not a surprise. I expect the craziest behavior from this crazy lunatic! That saddest part is the longer he is at large, not held accountable for his crimes, our country continues to suffer 😥

Judge Cannon should have recused herself, but had a Trump friendly judge not been chosen Trumps minions would be all over them with stalking, threats to them and their family, and so on. I just hope that Judge Cannon remembers that HISTORY WILL REMEMBER, and chooses to act accordingly.

  42. @WildIrish53

    December 24, 2023 at 12:25 pm

Aileen Cannon needs to be impeached. She not only had no trial experience, she hadn't worked as an attorney in law office for more than a few months when she was appointed.

  43. @reamoinmcdonachadh9519

    December 24, 2023 at 12:25 pm

The lie that the current President is putting his potential opponent on trial aught to be rejected by the Judge, in fact should be challenged as an act of perjury by Trump's lawyers. This Judge who has NOT recused herself (when she should have) needs to show that her appointment by the defendant when he was in Office does NOT OBLIGATE herself to him. In fact it obliges her to be SCRUPULOUSLY OBJECTIVE in her pronouncements and to ensure a fair hearing.

  44. @aniballaboy8398

    December 24, 2023 at 12:25 pm

We wonder if Judge Cannon is spending more time strategizing how to maneuver to dismiss the indictment than in preparing herself to do the job she was sworn to do…..Take a guess of how many calls she is getting from the dark underbelly seeking to derail our Democracy….

  45. @samasonedderman

    December 24, 2023 at 12:25 pm

I'm amazed that the courts are not stepping in to make things right. Are they not concerned of even the slightest appearance of bias! One does not expect any kind of honourable gesture from Cannon, but the courts should be concerned that the public will continue to second-guess this jugde because of her prior rulings. Considering the Supreme Court is giving everyone cause to distrust it, I'd have expected that the lowers courts would want to distance themselve from any form of controversy and suspicion!

  46. @gerryregan3577

    December 24, 2023 at 12:25 pm

Trump will spin and delay this till he loses another election, until he dies,

  47. @markcharcas2293

    December 24, 2023 at 12:25 pm

5:10 I work with digital media and I know this is nit picky and it’s not the anchor’s fault for reporting using these words but in this filing, the use of the words “compressed” and “raw” are very confusing used this way. Is it “compressed” or is it “raw” because those are oxymoronic by their definition written like this. Is it raw, unedited footage that has then been compressed for the sake of a smaller file or is it raw footage that has been “compressed” down or in other words, clipped down to showcase the important bits? Because those are two very different things.

Anyways, just needed to get that out.
