The Wall Street Journal has a new two-part feature detailing what it describes as Europe’s ‘rupture’ with the United States following this week’s NATO Summit in Turkey. The Journal reports that President Trump’s tariff’s and threats to take Greenland has sparked a quote, “rebellion” amongst European leaders who are now drawing limits on so-called “flattery diplomacy.” The paper reports many leaders now view autonomy as the long-term goal,. Rather than a temporary measure, adding that even if leadership changes the era of relying on America so heavily had ended. If we could get Joe manchin and Kyrstin Sinema to get on board with the other Democrats they could pass that act and we wouldn't have to worry about these Republicans changing laws so people couldn't vote. Why do Dem's take a starting position in negotiations with Reb's who state their position clearly stated no on everything with opening salvo is we will relinquish ground as opposed to we will try to negotiate but if you are unreasonable nothing off the table. We tried you lost. The Vast majority of the people got what they wanted. Deal with it. Quit bringing nerf bats to a knife fight.
