Our first documentary series with Alexa Chung culminates with examining fashion’s marriage of the old and the new. How does a brand stand the test of time, and what do historic fashion houses like Balmain do to stay relevant without losing loyal customers? Olivier Rousteing is the answer. He talks history, future, money, Instagram, Kardashians and dancing with a bumbag with Chung in the grand finale to this eye-opening series. To tie up her investigations Chung then gives us an insight into her own role within fashion as she introduces us to her agent, Saif Mahdhi at Next agency in Paris, and discusses how social changes in what we’re after from our cover girls have affected her own career path and changed the face of fashion magazines forever.
