As millions of voters cast their early midterm ballots, President Trump and his Justice Department are already casting doubt on the electoral process. Congressman Robert Garcia of California, who is up for reelection, says Trump “tries to scare people away from the ballot” by using “sham investigations.” But he also adds the courts “are pushing back on his efforts.”
Eugene Robinson, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and MS NOW political analyst and Jeff Mason, White House correspondent for Bloomberg join The Weekend to discuss President Trump’s support for various Republican candidates, just three days ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections. On the last days before the midterms, the Michigan Senate race is experiencing another controversy as Democrat Abdul El-Sayed asks his former primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI), to stay away from his campaign events, despite a unity rally set to take place Sunday. Former Rep. Max Rose, and MS NOW Political Analysts Basil Smikle and Matthew Bartlett join Antonia Hylton to break down what’s unfolding.
