If a smart, ambitious attorney were to pick up on it, there's an outstanding opportunity to start a class action lawsuit against FOX for the wrongful death of 100s of thousands of people, almost all of whom have survivors who are now deprived of their relatives. Compensation for wrongful death is the most substantial settlement category in civil litigation.
Surveys like the one mentioned suggest a lawsuit of this kind has basis, with potentially millions of American eligible for compensation from FOX. The size of the settlement, should the suit be successful — as it should be for sake of justice — has, it seems to me, a likelihood of being the largest in the history of litigation.
Doubtlessly such a lawsuit would turn off the lights forever at Fox, as well as the various Fox wanna be propaganda networks, who should also be named as defendants in such a hypothetical case.
I expect there are thousands of Erin Brockovichs out there, looking into this, salivating at the possibility…
