This is what happens when residents finally get tired of the crime in a neighborhood that previously didn’t have any. Must be pretty bad when they won’t open the door to help.

If a black man had done that to a white young man, what do you think would've happened to that black man?

He seems like a nice, young man. Such a shame this happened to him. It's a miracle that he survived.

Why do people race pimp everything, Black on white crime is 15 times more likely but race is never mentioned. This is a sad event and I hope the young man gets some justice.

I believe that just as there are some restrictions and conditions for drivers over the age of 70, there should be age restrictions on carrying a gun too!

God protected him. It wasn't his time to go. Even though the devil tried hard to kill him twice. Oh God, I pray for all of the people who are victims of racism, for you to protect them and put the devil to shame!

I have only one Question how and why did he go to the Wrong house that Night. Why didn't his parents go Get his siblings I wood argue that his parents put him in Danger why is that his Responsible to pick them up especially if he was not sure where to go and you can miss me with that he Made a mistake that's my point he should of Never been put in that situation his parents should of Knowed better.and I wood argue that the Man was probably scared especially when he seeing protesters Rioting in the Streets hurting people burning down property news lying saying these are some how peaceful protest
But the old man sees there not police not helping the Elderly you might be Afraid to ask Elderly black folks what they think and see go on in there communities if there Afraid and scared I'll bet they will say they are too. To all the Black Father's who go out in there communities and protect the Elderly and children of All Races thank you for Making America a Safer place for the voices not Herd or listen tooed in our communities there Lives Matter to. And to the Race Hustlers communist lying News media and politicians your Going to pay for this one way or Another believe that.

Jesus Christ these people who play on race at every turn in America make me vomit. That slimes lawyer makes me puke. This isn’t about race. It’s about a scared broken down old man fearing for his life. Listen, at the end of the day Andrew had about 3 cameras on the door. They should tell us something. Will be very interesting to see exactly how this goes down. Remember… Ralph said ‘I never touched the door handle’. We shall see. As for the interview… is there anyone amongst us so naive by now to not realise that in every case like this (especially with your smarmy money smelling lawyer sitting out of shot) that any response given by Ralph and his mom has been extensively vetted and rehearsed by the legal team. Hope Andrew Lester gets off. That would be true humbleness. Forgiving him and NOT going for the money. That would REALLY show their worth. No way that’s ever gonna happen tho. $$$$$$$

Racist anti white ABC news really milked this story. Ignoring myriad numbers of blacks burglarizing and murdering and raping innocent non blacks. Shoving people off subway platforms….
    White liberals own blacks.

    December 12, 2023 at 5:40 am

Really if anyone believes this guy was shot in the head and he has no scars or injuries you can see is a pretty tell tell sign it's a bullshit lie!

Who the hell shoots someone for ringing their doorbell?!?

  29. @senai795

    December 12, 2023 at 5:40 am

I couldn't imagine shooting a teenager in the head for ringing the door bell. That's what a doorbell is for…….
It's so sad it took protests to get the police to charge the person who shot him twice at short range, including once in the HEAD.
    Do better america

Such a gentle, intelligent young man, so unfair and wrong that he has to go through this. I pray all his dreams come true. He's lucky to be alive.

Shows how much injustice is there in America. The people defending this old man, will be the same one to cry over Ashly Babbit, even though this guy didn't attacked him

  32. @raerae6422

    December 12, 2023 at 5:40 am

That man is a danger to society. This could have been avoided if he spoke to the kid.
He didnt even try to ask what he wanted, didnt warn him that he was armed and would use it if the kid didnt leave, he didnt call police to come and work things out.
The kid wasnt threatening him or holding a weapon. The man wasnt defending himself.
Trigger-happy freaks like that should face the full-force of the law. At his age, he should know better.

  33. @julianasanchez9834
