Pitiful attempts to somehow sound positive. The Ukraine lost the war the Russia marched in

It must be gut wrenchingly painful and difficult for Ukraine and her allies to admit defeat.

I have no clue what ukraine is doing honestly it seems to me they are completely lost, they wasted so many on striked on random russian headquarters and bridges without kaing a single strong push after, they are wasting men in groups of 5-10 for miniscule gains

US is heartlessly using Ukraine to sharpen their skills and learn to fight Russians, they also are using Ukrainians as canon fodder sparing their own soldiers, but just are involved in strategy and orchestrating

General Valery Zaluzhnyi is a master in military tactic and way ahead of this guys. He is on the field. He knows what to do. Less talk….more weapons …less politics. Ukraine will prevail

Funny hearing the Americans complain, so when was the last time you faced off against a peer enemy?

More than 70,000 Ukrainian troops were killed during the 3.5 months of the Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Almost no territorial gains. Not a single goal of the counteroffensive was achieved.

We need to talk about those dead, and not bombard users with bravado videos.

Ukraine shouldn’t try to push into Russian territory, it’s a suicide I understand wanting to stand up for your country and give them what they gave to Ukraine last uear, but all these young men who will die for nothing, is just sad

  17. @russ_6214

    January 10, 2024 at 12:54 pm

Fun fact: all of our military expert generals have literally never been in a real war. Bombing Arabs in the Middle East who have no means to respond to you isn’t “experience.” Russia was able to accomplish the same with the “rebels” in Syria (despite all these generals saying at the time they’re going to be in a “quagmire”). It’s like a high school bully picking on kindergarteners. These guys are academics and it’s comical that they’re worshipped as some kind of experts. US hasn’t been in anything resembling this since Vietnam. Vietcong wasn’t supported to anything remotely similar to how we’re supporting Ukraine and it ended up in a complete clusterf*ck for the US.

The fate of Ukraine is tragic. Without "help" from the great "friend" USA and its aggressive tool (NATO), Ukraine would be a normal country, with correct relations with its neighbors and with much less fresh cemeteries. With "friends" like the US, there's no need to look for enemies, because you're guaranteed to get them in no time.

    January 10, 2024 at 12:54 pm

Occupied Crimea Will always be a threat to South Ukraine. It has multiple military facilities, missiles are launched from there. The question is: why not take it?

I still remember when Russia started digging in, how all these Western experts mocked these defensive positions saying they will not make any difference. I laughed then, i am laughing harder now.

US Forces have never fought this type of war. Every War and Special Action since WWII, the US has had Air and Naval Superiority.
Ukraine is attempting to spread a vastly larger armed force (Russia) thin by using Special Forces in small numbers to draw larger number of Russians away from their critical approaches.
Maybe if the US had release Abrams, Cluster Munitions', and F16 at the very beginning the Ukraine's perhaps would not need to use Guerilla tactics and could fight a more traditional counter attack.

I am wondering how does he imagine concentrating forces on the ground in one spot without at least some local air superiority?

  32. @Archy11102

    January 10, 2024 at 12:54 pm

It's so funny to me when journalists behind desks speak about "stalled" counter-offensive. The Ukrainian counter-offensive is going as fast as possible. What these fools fail to understand that while Ukrainian soldiers were training for counter-offensive and while West debated what and how much of military aid they will send, Russian invaders were building defenses and place a lot of minefields – they had more than 6 months to prepare all this. Yet these news and politicians from the West, somehow speak about counter-offensive going "slow".

  33. @doriaknight7920

    January 10, 2024 at 12:54 pm

Armchairs Generals are primarily focused on satisfying a media driven narrative and really don’t care about the fate of Ukraine military and national interests.

  38. @quovadimus3312

    January 10, 2024 at 12:54 pm

U.S. is going to blame the loss on Ukraine more and more, 400,000 dead, maybe 70,000 left, with no air support to speak off against 750,000 with maybe the best air defense in the world = humiliating the west, which is very dangerous. Biden already signed in that he’s willing to use nuclear weapons as a first strike weapon, yellow ones I want peace is Russia but they can’t find an adult to speak with… this is sick and twisted, will we wake up?
