Xi Tells EU Leaders China Wants to Be Key Trade Partner
Chinese President Xi Jinping told European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel that he wants the two sides to be key trade partners capable of building trust over supply chains as they met Thursday in Beijing. On today’s show, ASML raised its full-year sales forecast for the second time this year, as a surge in AI spending drives demand for its chip-making machines. Europe’s most valuable company also announced that Intel has begun using its most advanced High NA EUV machine in a sign that it’s ready for widespread adoption.
Oil prices climbed for a third straight day, after the US carried out another round of strikes on Iran. President Trump has backed away from his plan for a 20% charge on cargo shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, but reimposed the blockade of Iranian ships travelling through the waterway.
Traders cut bets on a July Fed rate hike after a softer-than-expected US CPI print. This as Kevin Warsh warned against complacency on inflation in his first congressional testimony as Fed Chairman.

To be an EU 🇪🇺 key trade partner, China needs to:
– cancel the "No Limits" agreement with Russia,
– stop undermining EU sanctions against Russia,
– talk with Taiwan president Tsai Ing-wen on an equal basis,
– open independently a study into Wuhan pandemic,
– stop atrocity of Tibetans and Uyghurs,
– obey the Hague Tribunal 2016's decision on the SCS,
– Leave European intellectual properties alone,
– stop unfairly subsidizing electric cars, and
– stop interfering into EU internal affairs.

Yeah China wants it.. Problem is, THEY DONT WANT XI and CCP! 50% of Graduates for the last three years are unemployed! ALL major business' and banks have left China. So.. what are they going to trade? After XI told them go back the agricultural areas to find some way to live.. Im betting about the time that the "empty malls and industrial areas and all of the housing start collapsing" maybe someone would show up in China.. but not likely! You people dont report ANYTHING that is actually going on in China. Quit telling fairytales.
