Why SpaceX’s Governance Has Driven Away Some Pension Funds
SpaceX’s record-setting IPO gave public investors access to one of the world’s most valuable companies, but not equal voting rights. CEO Elon Musk holds just over 40% of the company’s equity while controlling more than 80% of the vote. IPO adviser Lise Buyer says dual-class shares can protect founders from short-term market pressure, but Harvard Law School’s Lucian Bebchuk warns that SpaceX’s structure goes much further, raising risks around accountability, succession, conflicts of interest, and shareholder value. Some investors, including Danish pension fund AkademikerPension, have already rejected the stock over what they call “catastrophic governance,” turning SpaceX into a test case for how much control public markets are willing to give superstar founders.

trust shmust. just sell them cheaper. bottom dollar always trumps safety. give each passenger their own parachute and say "do the other airlines do this?". Then you have the market cornered again. just stuff the individual parachutes in the same compartment that the air masks fall out of when they hit turbulence.

The media is never going to report on the thousands of safe take offs and landings of all aircraft. 😅 Obviously this incident is not good. My understanding is that in the 2 crashes of the MAX the pilots were poorly trained? Was that Boeing's fault or the airlines involved? Luckily nobody was killed in this incident and the good thing is that all the airlines are going to be taking a better look at all their aircraft. Travel by air in any aircraft is the safest form of travel out there. Do not let the MEDIA control you.😊

Old saying" It all rolls downhill". If Boeing management is bad it just rolls down till it gets to the floor worker. Change has to start on top but they are not willing to do it. I worked on military aircraft and to increase productivity they hired a company to check the process and times to do a job. In the end they just threw away the findings. They found nothing wrong with the workers it was all on management that was bad.
@EmperorShang

Boeing and the FAA's decision to hire 2 managers for every factory worker is a bold move, Pepper. Let's see how this plays out.

As your former employees said in the netflix documentary years ago, they cut from 15 quality control experts per assembly line down to 1. And allowed anyone around them to sign off on work done, no matter their qualifications. They found a ladder in the tail of a plane. All so they could increase stock prices. I will never fly on a newer boeing again.

Boeing execs have had plenty of opportunities to improve their game but all they've done is put lipstick on the pig (no offense the smart pigs).
The Trump administration let them off with a big fine after the 2 MAX crashes killed 350 people.
Maybe Biden should consider jail time for the Boeing people responsible for this latest catastrophe.

I heard one of Bowens spokesman say in 2021. I believe that they were going to rename the Max eight max nine I believe this is the problem they need to quit associating the 737 with these Max planes the old 737 were great aircraft they were built by real aircraft builders now Bing owned by bankers And government official it seems that don’t have a clue about aircraft only about making money they might’ve should’ve bought some bolts for these aircraft would’ve went along way

Airbus has been ahead of Boeing in civil aviation for sometime. Boeing is only history. Two of the best passenger planes in modern era were from Airbus: A380 and Concorde.
