Weak rebuttal by the FBI Director on the question of low trust. Why didn't he point out the reason trust is low in the FBI is because the Trump GOP undermines them every time the FBI reasonable works to hold them accountable.

I agree that the GOP frame any reasonable FBI investigation into Trump etc as unreasonable politicalisation of law enforcement. However, using the increase in people from GOP states as a counter to to the low levels of trust in the FBI is not a sound rebuttal. This does nothing to prove the low trust numbers are false. It could even mean more right wing people want to change the FBI into a tool for trump from the inside. The reason trust is low in the FBI is because the Trump GOP undermines them every time the FBI reasonable works to hold them accountable.

We were promised a report on who brought cocaine into the White House. We were promised that a report would be released the first of this week. Where is the report? Who brought cocaine into America’s house? Why is this terrible situation being swept under the rug?
THIS JUST IN: After a complete and a thorough investigation by our premier federal investigative agency in the country, the FBI was unable to determine who brought cocaine into the White House. We must understand that the White House was one of the most secure buildings in the country filled with electronic, animal, human, security with cameras covering almost every inch of that facility, our FBI was unable to determine who brought cocaine into the White House. Unbelievable. If this was a Trump Administration, our hair would be on fire, and we would be demanding everyone in the White House take a drug test.
