Mike Lawler (R-NY) joined Christina Ruffini and David Gura this morning on Bloomberg This Weekend for a wide-ranging discussion, including President Trump’s impending decision to approve a $14 billion US arms sale to Taiwan, which could unleash a bipartisan backlash in Washington or face Beijing’s wrath if the deal is approved. Xi Jinping warned that Taiwan could lead to “clashes” between the US and China, calling it a “highly dangerous situation” for the world’s biggest economies.
