America wasn’t a democracy to begin with, the founding fathers hated it, We and always have been a republic, other countries just see us as democratic.

Look to the course of political, system-based and corporate practices in history to present. The US has been massively authoritarian since post September 2001. And even prior to that, The Bill of Rights were stripped away plenty of times, it was only somewhat less authoritarian. Except for the 1950s McCarthyism period, that was heavily authoritarian too. Stop pretending "the corona virus" scare is responsible for authoritarianism, it's been this way for decades. Most people simply pretend things aren't authoritarian even to this date despite how authoritarianism is so prevalent it's otherwise undeniable. In denial authoritarianism.

The Authoritarian movement in America is a push back, or a resistance to lawlessness, anarchy and gang crime in the inner cities. Sooner or later the public says, that's enough. In an ideal world, unlimited freedom is great. But in a corrupt world, unlimited freedom won't work. As long as the political pendulum is in the center, we have a balance, freedom with law and order. If however you can no longer maintain law and order in a free society, you move to Authoritarianism.

Authoritarianism is not a right-wing's tool but also left-wing's tool too. When one wing will win to rule the State, then the authority will whisper the winner wing to crush freedom and humanity all over the world.

my thing is this since you were completely unable to prevent this from happening you better try to figure out how you're going to end it once it gets started from my understanding. it impossible to end it without a war. so people who don't like their freedoms go for it because they will be over and you will be doing what the government tells you.
as much as you hate the government they are exactly who's going to be running your life every step of the way.
these people who are helping this man get where he's going will be his bootlickers.

Another propaganda piece from Rachel like Juicy Smallet case. The real threat to democracy is the corrupt media. They persecute Rittenhouse yet are silently supportive of Jeffery Epstein, Giselle, Harvey Winestein and other for years. Biden has a ‘conference on Democracy’ but US reporters are not allowed to ask the emperor any questions. BS

Over here in Germany, we have managed to create somewhat of a counter-model to this worldwide divisive trend: the two largest political parties – mid left and mid right – have been in several instances of "Grand Coalition" over many years, and given the challenges of CV-19, they have shown this model to actually work and produce results

And then there are assists by fake YouTube accounts. What kind of accounts? Fake news accounts. They are primarily Republican. And they're made for the long-term. Like 10 or more years ago they were created, but only get truly activated by posting things after 5 or 10 years of dormancy. YouTube does not monitor these. But they're easily identified because of this pattern. Imagine a youtube account, claimed to be a new service, but posts nothing for 8 years, and then posts two times a day for 30 days. In that 30 days it goes from zero subscribers to 75,000. It posts none of its own content, only posting clips of other news services but provides a title that is both misleading and criticizing but without commentary which means it can't claim fair use, and curiously always from the same side of the political sphere. Meet AISA news.

The US has supported coups and assassinations that put authoritarian regimes in power around the world. It is responsible for supporting most of he worlds authoritarian dictatorships in the world. This idea that the US is a beacon of democracy and human rights is just American historical revisionism. You are the axis of evil and you have been for a very long time. You even had leaders, during the second world war, arguing that the US should come into the war on the side of the NAZI's. The grandfather/ father of two of your ex-presidents, the Bushs', supplied metals to the NAZI's that were being used to make the weapons and ammunition that were killing our soldiers and innocent civilians. You slunk into the end of the war like cowards and have since tried to revise history to say that you saved the world. No-one but you delusional, narcissistic sociopaths believe the myths you tell yourselves about yourselves. Look up "The Battle of Brisbane" on Wikipedia to get an idea of just how you were regarded by the allied forces during WWII. There were many instances like this that were covered up so they weren't used as propaganda by the Axis.

People act like it was all Trump. He definitely was gas on the fire. But, that fire has been out of control since WW2. Really intense freefall since Nixon. Besides bringing corporatist fascists and Dixiecrats to the Republican Party, NeoLiberalism took hold in the Democratic Party aswell. Clinton & Obama were basically Reaganite Rethuglicans in blue ties and helped ratchet the USA's Overton window to the Right of Mussolini's Italy. The fact that this Obama official and MSNBC don't mention history anymore than Rethuglicans do, tells you all you need to know about how ruled by privately owned business this wannabe country is. It's no stretch to say the DNC is basically the RNC in pretty wrapping paper, and MSNBC is FOX with a highschool diploma that almost ended up being a GED.

Standing up to our adversaries against authoritarianism is the politically convenient thing to do, but what about calling out our "ally's" for their oppression and apartheid? Israel! That's right, because anytime anyone tries to stand up to Israeli war crimes Israel hides behind their shroud of anti-semitism. Just look where 73 years of total unequivocal defense, and financing, of Israel has taken America. Hypocrisy!America cannot be taken seriously regarding actions taken by our adversaries when we condone oppressive and apartheid acts by Israel. "anna Falestine"
