On Monday, a federal immigration agent fatally shot 26-year-old Joan Sebastian Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine. DHS says Guerrero, who was legally authorized to work in the United States, tried to flee the scene after he was pulled over. State and local police are investigating the shooting, but local politicians fear federal authorities could try to block the state from key evidence and information. The incident comes just days after the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Lorenzo Salgado Araujo at the hands of an ICE agent in Houston. Joe calls the string of violence against immigrants “wildly out of control.”

I don't understand the hatred of muslims. I was raised christian. They believe Jesus was the messiah as do the christians. They believe that God took Jesus into heaven as the christians believe in the ascenion. The difference? God saved Jesus from crucifixtion where christians believe he was crucified and rose 3 days later. Is that difference in faith seriously worth all the hatred? If it is then you have no faith in anything.

Regarding the last segment, this old polyglot linguist has something to add, about “religious” conflicts within the Abrahamic Œkumene, back through the Ages to their beginnings, and beyond. I was raised Old Lutheran, am now agnostic, and to me, the foes really worth opposing have always been the religiositous extremists who weaponize fake “Faith” to cloak their insatiable greed for power and riches. The false prophets care nothing for the blindered sheeple they KKKultivate with artificial, ancient fears and past hatreds. They fleece, plunder, and butcher them in violent, lucrative wars they intentionally provoke for personal profit. It’s a very old, cynically criminal scam.
I have yet to encounter a single “TelEvangelical” con artist half as fit in the Scriptures they pretend to revere, as I am. I tear into the christianist bigots for blaring out the Bible passages they hypocritically misuse, stoking hatreds, promoting strife, and kicking off the murderous violence they really crave, to increase their secretive riches. This is at least as old as the patriarchist assemblage at Nicæa, as new as Osteen refusing his MAGAchurch shelter to hurricane victims in TX, and continues through the present, in the figure of that “House Speaker” with the utterly forgettable name and extremely shadowy past.
My favorite Gospel is Mark (Matti). The old tavern-keeper / tax-collector from that multilingual, economic crossroads of the Levant is one of the greatest story-tellers I’ve ever encountered; I think he was one of the best listeners, too. The gilded Repugnithug extremists aren’t. Peddling their storm of lies to the gullible, they think to reap the tempest, and they must be stopped.

Please tell me where fast food restaurants or just the food industry, that an employee is getting paid $20 an hour!?!?!?! Because in Oklahoma, minimum wage is $7.25 and that hasn't changed since 2008!!! Companies will work their employees just at or under 32 hours a week to avoid offering them any kind of benefits or insurance. Wait staff at restaurants are still paid with an hourly wage of less than $5 an hour because they get tips. Imagine trying to provide for your family and nobody has to go without. Try being a young adult trying to start to live your life out on your own and not have a bunch of roommates who are in the same boat just so they don't have to go ask their parents to come back home. Over 20 years ago people voted to make this a right to work state and so many have suffered from it passing. So yes, I would love to know where I can tell my children they can work and get paid that much just so they can start to be able to enjoy their lives
