Intelligence veteran Sue Gordon knows it’s important to say hard things about America. As she puts it, “that is the best love that there is.” Gordon speaks with Nicolle Wallace on what she witnessed and saw first-hand working with the Trump administration. Nicolle calls her a “unicorn”: a rare case of somebody who served with honor and integrity as the Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence — and who Donald Trump, at least for a while, kept around. “I am for America,” Gordon says, declaring that as her North Star. Throughout her decorated career in intelligence, Gordon has always understood that telling the truth is imperative in keeping the president informed and the nation safe. She talks bluntly about the administration putting innocent people in harm’s way in Iran, calls Jay Clayton’s refusal to state that Joe Biden won the 2020 election during his confirmation hearing “100% disqualifying” and points to Trump being “more cruel” in his second term. She does not believe, however, that the president cannot be reasoned with. Taking a beat, she says: “Maybe I need to call him.”

Senate Majority Leader John Thune said at a press conference after Tuesday’s failed votes that Republicans are now in the hunt for a few additional Democrats to support their clean, short term funding bill after three Democrats defected during tonight’s vote. This is the first government since 2018, in Trump’s first term, which was the longest ever at 34 days, lasting into early 2019. There is no clear path to a resolution, with the two sides fundamentally at odds over how to resolve the impasse.

I am going to watch reruns of Johnny Carson and get a professional's objective world view of political influences on the common American family at their dinner table and how it disrupts the flow of the digestive tract causing ulcers that in return creates excessive belching which restricts the digestive tract causing one to regurgitate all that he ingested for who knows how long on to the kitchen table and causing other family members to react with the same regurgitation spasms. In some the exposure to these worldly views causes a build up of environmentally toxic forms of gascidity which some discribe describethe EPA wants to manage to except able levels in the home

This is the same political party that wouldn't release the facts concerning the Saudis that surrounded 9-11. They also let the Saudis flee America while the entire global air system was shut down.
