Protests form as some Ohio Haitians face ICE deadline today to surrender or wear ankle monitor
As hundreds of Ohioans take to the streets in an early morning protest, members of Springfield, Ohio’s Haitian community are contending with the end of TPS protections and possible deportation, with many facing a deadline of TODAY to turn themselves into ICE or choose to wear an ankle monitor while they wait for their fates to be worked out by the courts. I love when a person call it as it is in just a few words; we have to push back against 'hateful garbage'! The enfasis given at the right place in a sentence is another beauty.
I mean, this lady, Democratic MI State Senator Mallory McMorrow is a beauty beyond her physical appearance and make me feel proud to call myself a "LIBERAL" because is people like Ms. McMorrow who represent us with dignity, compassion, and honor among other qualities and focus on the real issues and not on crap like Republicans whose agenda is HATE, DIVISIVENESS, RACISM, etc. and when things go well they go trumpeting about issues they opposed in the first place but now they go owning them.
Republicans are opportunistic and shameless people so therefore the acquire the Adjective of "DEPLORABLE RATS".

The biggest threat to hollow, hateful Republican schemes are educated voters.
The biggest threat to our democracy is not (and has never been) corporate greed; it’s the abundance of otherwise “intelligent” people who ignorantly brag about being “not political” and say asinine things like “My vote doesn’t matter.” Dude, if your vote really didn’t matter, then why have Republicans been spending so much time passing/promoting laws that make it more difficult for people to vote, and gerrymandering districts to disenfranchise minorities, while also opposing/stopping legislation like the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act?
If you are eligible, and you vote, you’re awesome! As for the rest of you, there’s no point in condemning Republican greed, fascism and cruelty unless you’re voting and/or actively encouraging others to vote. Democracy is not a spectator sport.

Love her fighting spirit! Mallory didn't name her offender, but don't you know viewers started Googling her opponent immediately! This may be an unintentionally brilliant tactic, because by searching for the name, people ended up learning way more about Lana Theis than they ever would have if Mallory had called her out by name.

Joe, shame on you if you voted down restrictions on ar15's back in the day. We already have the 2nd amendment locked into the constitution. Regular guns aren't the issue. AR15's are weapons of mass destruction, they cannot be allowed in civil society. People are scared to send their kids to school because they can be killed at school. It has to stop!

I hope the Democratic Party has learned from this incident. Teh Republican Party has absolutely no solutions for our needs that they are interested in facilitating. They instead, spend all of their energy and focus on hate speech. Against Democrats, against Blacks, against our children in support of the NRA. The Republican Party hasn't seriously sat down and planned a people oriented Platform since 2012! They have instead focused their hate filled messages. How can so many still support them?!
