Democrats use "looser" speak. As a progressive I am all about change, but like a house – you need a foundation first and quite frankly the only group that has any experience in productive buildung legislation are the republicans and independents. Democrats are blithering idiots – and empty suit distructionists

If you had followed the plan in front of you Joe instead of screwing it up. Just because you don't lie Trump is no excuse. And David Cornwall is a hack reporter. MSNBC is a joke.

Why not when one side can use Russian Collusion for 4 years isn’t it fare for the other side to use a real disaster. MSNBC if justifying the death of 13 brave American soldiers. SHAME!!! Fake News. If a crazy guy has a rock in his hand you have no clue how he is going to throw.

Leaving as it has been said, was most likely best option. However the plan was a disaster. If you never wore a uniform for this country keep your mouth shut. You dont give the enemy billions in weapons and leave civilians behind. Period. This is a joke and the Biden Administration needs to be held accountable.

People have such short and selective memories. Was it not Trump who negotiated a departure date, agreed to the release of 30,000 Taliban soldiers and pardoned the leader who is the very same man who is now overtaking the country. I think the blame cant really be laid at Biden's feet.

That's right the right wants to take advantage of bidens idiotic plan. The left never took advantage of lies. Trumps a Russian spy. Trumps using other government to incriminate hunter or blackmail. Trump made to much money while in office. These were proven wrong yet the left ran with them. So stop blaming Trump. Biden could 9f stopped or changed it anytime After all is he not the president. You voted him in so accept your failure in leadership.

The GOP need to start blaming Clownald Tdumbp for not telling anybody of his agreement with the Taliban.

  21. @usmcsemperfi5017

    December 14, 2023 at 2:40 am

If the GOP would tell the truth, the Clownald Tdumbp Administration had already met and spoken to the Taliban, and had the head Taliban Mullah pulled out of Pakistani Prison, and settled for the USA to withdraw on May 2020. I was in the military during the Viet Nam Era, and this was a "GOP CHAOS" and none of them said a word. It was left on the lap of POTUS Jimmy Carter (D) in 1975 to complete the chaotic withdrawal, and 130,000 Vietnamese jumped over the Embassy fences and Airport and American soldiers were trying their best to get them all out. Therefore, don't tell me about the mess left to Pres. Biden by Clownald Tdumbp and his incompetent staff!!!!

Trump is shameful. His malfeasance and crap talking a current president is so disgusting and unprescidented it's shocking. This guy has no bounds or social mores. It's like he lives in a soap opera or reality show. Can you imagine trying to to your job as POTUS right now, which is already stressful enough, and being publicly harassed on a daily basis by the last sitting president and his mean girl rejects? Real classy (I can only imagine what the US looks like to other countries). 🥺

  32. @jansean2497

We should have left years ago. Trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives later and Biden is the only one not to kick this can down the road to the next a President.

300 MILLION DOLLARS A DAY FOR 20 YEARS WASTED! and these 3 unconvincing clowns are telling us who we should be mad at because of what they said. Absolutely sickening but hey, if we are mad at the Republicans, the one party system we have can continue to screw us over unchallenged for the next 20 years.

    December 14, 2023 at 2:40 am

A little Truth in PERSPECTIVE: In the last 18-months – how many US Soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan ZERO “0” vs. how many US Citizens have been killed by the Covid-19 Pandemic >600,000 which is greater than those killed in WWI and WWII combined. So clearly – the biggest risk to the American People is Covid-19; Go get yourself vaccinated…

  39. @marka.martin5842

    December 14, 2023 at 2:40 am

Many Afghans for hundreds of years have behaved very badly. We could stay there for 100+ years and when we pulled out of there, the exact same thing that did happen yesterday, would still going to occur. I am hoping so hard that the Taliban will behave better than in the past, especially in their treatment of women. Republicans really need to shut up here. It was a Republican that got us into this mess. As most always the case, Democrats had to come in and clean up the mess. The powers that be are committed to getting as many people out of Afghanistan as possible, most especially those who worked closely with our troops. Today, our Republican Governor, Brian Kemp opened the doors of the State of Georgia and put out the welcome mat for Afghan refugees to come to Georgia. We have a quite sizeable Afghan population here in Atlanta. By and large, Afghans are a great people. I know in my heart that those coming to Atlanta, will be very glad they did. I for one, intend to make them feel as welcome as I possibly can.

  40. @daydreonmckinney

    December 14, 2023 at 2:40 am

Why did Trump make a deal with the Taliban's and set thousands of them free from the Afghanistan prison? At the same time he made a deal with Taliban's on when Our troops will leave. He didn't talk it over with afganistans, when the whole deal was made. He made the deal with Taliban's. He pretty much handed their country over to the enemy. Why did he do that? Why were all those Taliban prisoners set free?He knows every single one of them went back and joined the Taliban army. What was the whole purpose for?

Rachel Maddow examines the confusing mix of contradictory, impulsive decisions and petty tantrums that constitutes Donald Trump’s agenda. She notes that the result is an almost complete loss of U.S. allies around the world, and that only three states have a net-positive opinion of him. Even in those states, voters are handing him election losses by proxy.
