Hawley was 100% correct… Kendi danced around it with the most bizzare comments. Here we are a year later, and the fears being spoken by the republicans they are trying to "expose" are coming true. Teachers are being exposed as teaching in their classrooms that white people are inherently racists and white boys are inherently violent supremecists.

She leads off with "factual analysis of our history"
I love how they try to pass off an ideology as history.
Do history professors teach CRT? No
    Is post modernism considered history?
Crenshaw herself described CRT as applied post modernism.
So what's with the gift that CRT is either history or factual analysis?
If it was so factual then why is it a theory?
(Answer: because it isn't grounded in any empirical way and cannot be validated)
Calling it history is intellectually dishonest.
It's like trying to sell Marxism as history.
    Good grief people

No one would claim that mainland Chinese, Ashkenazi Jews, northern Indians, Ebo Nigerians, and Japanese (Americans) are outperforming white, African American, and Hispanic Americans in education and income, significantly, because our society is institutionally benefited to slant towards those minority groups. Why then are the plight and disparities of certain ethnic groups, in the US considered the sole responsibility of other outgroups? Absurd. Achievement not "privilege".

Take Native Americans, who have been receiving their so called "reparations" for decades and are the poorest ethnic group in the US. What is the net result of reparations and affirmative action, historically, for those people being "helped"? This man is just another race hustler and so called intellectual.

  31. @TheLoadedLongboard

    December 14, 2023 at 7:12 pm

I think what the problem is, is that white America feels that they have done the most to fight for the equality of all people (which I would agree). Black America feels like the majority of the world is racist against them (which I would agree). Neither groups are absolutely right. Not all that America has done is equal and not all of the world is racist.

I would love to see America join together and lead the world as we once did. We led the world in ideas, action, results. To join together we must reconcile our differences.

I will be honest, too, the people that need to hear this do not watch MSNBC.

I was raised by a liberal racist which made me not be one. All those years of liberal violence caused by blacks killing my dad's 11 year old uncle for a few dollars, the black man that took my dad's job when he returned from war helped make him racist, I find I can call liberal racists idiots and the blacks that vote for them bigger racist idiots. No book needed, just common sense.

Sen. Murphy: Proposed Relief Bill ‘Could Get Us Through What Could Be A Very Hard And Deadly Winter’

Published

on

By

Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the proposal of a $908 billion COVID relief bill by a bipartisan group of senators as 14 million Americans could lose unemployment aid by the end of December. Sen. Murphy says, “This amount of money could get us through what could be a very hard and deadly winter. This isn’t big enough to be able to get us to the point where the entire country is vaccinated. But it might be enough to make sure that millions of Americans don’t go hungry, don’t starve, don’t die out on the streets this winter when their jobless benefits expire and when protections for evictions expire.” Aired on 12/01/2020.

‘ERODING our democracy’: Morning Joe reacts to SHOCKING NYT Editorial on Trump’s election meddling

Published

on

By

The New York Times editorial board is out with a new series tracking 12 categories of democratic erosion in the United States, highlighting the “worrisome steps” it says President Trump has taken toward undermining American democracy. Measuring on a scale from zero to 10 — with zero representing a strong, though imperfect, democracy and 10 representing a true autocracy — the board has moved one category, “manipulating the law to stay in power,” up to Level 3. The Morning Joe panel breaks down the ominous warnings from the piece as the country heads toward the November midterms and the 2028 election.
