I would like to ask Peniel if it is his belief that the slaves, who were brought to the America's by Dutch slave traders, were treated worse than the Native Americans that were already here when white Europeans first came here?

FYI Stanford, Yale and Berkeley are all names after racists. Yale was not only a slave owner, but also a ruthless and sadistic slave trader. Better tear down their statues and rename those schools ASAP.

If Donald Trump wins black people need to leave the country in mass to West African countries. We are leaving anyway. I left America 12 yrs ago, living in Rome. I recently bought a huge piece of land in Ghana and I'm building a large family compound for my whole extended family. America is awful.

I hope it is. But I worry that the corruption of the system is already too deep, that we're over that line into fascism which will be almost impossible to move. The institutions that we need to work for change to happen are NOT working.

David’s prayer of penitence, “Create in me a clean heart, oh God….” is asked with humility. Everyone is liable for his own indiscretions.
