President Trump launched the U.S. into a new trade war with Canada, imposing 50% tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian goods. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Trump wants Canada to “negotiate in good faith.” In response, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada was at war with the U.S. and lamented that “America has changed” and promised “dollar for dollar” retaliation. I recall Mr. Ralston from my USAF days in the 80s and 90s. He always had a firm grasp on the political doings in NV. He could tell you the state, county and city behind the scenes stories. Seems like a good guy to have a pint with anytime.

Senator Schumer should not be Majority Leader. He couldn't talk (bribe. threaten, blackmail. etc.) Democrats into eliminating the filibuster when we needed the Voter Rights Act passed.
