The wtiters strike can go on forever for all I care. If studios want to continue to produce content then they know how to go about it.
Look for independent writers that are willing to sell their creative work.
As for actors there are ways around this, LA, Hollywood and surrounding areas are full of actors working regular 9-5 jobs. Start picking these people up and using them.
