Republicans are setting themselves up in the hope that Trump goes to prison, they know he's got no chance of getting out of it.
So what they are doing is sucking up to Trump so that his followers then will come to them when Trump goes down.
And no, of course Republicans have no depth to which they will not sink.
They have already signed up and worship someone who openly has said he will tear up the Constitution, will institute a fascist dictatorship, who will attack their enemies, both politically, socially and physically.
Republicans secretly went over to Russia in the LAST elections, begging for Putin's aid then!
