Jen Psaki reports on Donald Trump giving Russian President Vladimir Putin another big boost by dropping sanctions to allow Russia to move more diesel fuel to market and suggested the U.S. would be among the buyers. Trump even thanked Putin, even though the diesel release is not expected to be enough to change global diesel prices, but will yield billions for Russia to spend on its war against ostensible U.S. ally, Ukraine. Joe Scarborough and the Morning Joe panel discuss Trump appearing to favor Putin over Zelenskyy. This comes as Trump insists the two warring nations have agreed to a so-called “energy ceasefire” — despite Zelenskyy saying Moscow continues firing on Ukrainian energy sites and Russia declining to say it has agreed to any ceasefire. Plus, several senators — including four Republicans — called for Trump to “immediately reverse course” on the diesel plan, adding: “The United States should not provide Putin with a financial lifeline while Russia continues to kill Ukrainian civilians.”

The Republican candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner is facing calls to suspend his campaign after he uploaded a series of racist posts targeting University of Texas Austin football fans celebrating their win over Ohio State.
MS NOW’s Rosa Flores spoke with students on campus, who called the posts “racist,” “appalling,” “divisive” and “ignorant.”

I always tip cash to avoid the question, “who gets it”. I worked in the pizza industry in San Francisco and don’t like the ideia that tip will be shared with all workers on that work shift. I would like to get my tip in cash, if I could.

As a general rule I don't keep cash on my person. But if I'm going to a place like Subway or to get a haircut where someone WILL be providing me a service, I try to make sure I do have tip money, even though I always pay by card. If it's possible I always tip with cash, otherwise they take taxes out of the person's tips! 🤬 If it's cash they may or may not report it as income… that's none of my business. But I generally hope they don't so it doesn't get unfairly taxed. I personally believe it's unfair and definitely unethical that tip workers have a lower base pay… it should be illegal! 🤬

I ordered food from a restaurant online that I was picking up and at checkout they forced you to tip, suggesting 30%. You had to tip at least $2 no matter the cost of the food or drinks you ordered. Then when I picked up the order, I noticed there was a service charge for ordering online of $3. So, my small order was just shy of double the cost. Never again, they lost a customer who has dined inside that restaurant several times before. Online is supposed to be an advantage to both the business and the customer. Not a way to rip off people.

i dislike the tipping culture
it expects the customer to subsidize the employer paying sub-living wages to workers
also, I despise automatically included tips, as they allow for substandard even rude service
mandate that employers pay an actual living wage, and then leave the option to tip to the customer
tips are to reward good service and ensure it in the future
they are not meant to be the pay system to allow employers to be overseers

I've met Trump many times. I worked at the McDonalds on East 47th in Manhattan. He would ponderously order: 2 Big Macs, fries, large shake and 2 Filet-O-Fish, regularly. I thought he was an I/dd adult. Wealthy but inbred like a British royal.
I would ask him if it was all for him.
He replied : " You bet, Honey. You're too pretty to work here. How old are you, Honey?"
I was 15.

Again we hear politicians and mainstream media cherry picking information, and then lying to the American people. Here is the true story regarding the slavery curriculum being taught in Florida. Which was written by two black PhD's. What they wrote was. Slavery was absolutely terrible, but perhaps the skills learned during slavery may have given the people a chance at advancement in their future. People may have learned skills that would later benefit their lives.
So try reporting the true and complete story.
